Christmas 2026
Festive dining all through December, from £35 for two courses or £40 for three: butter-poached turkey, beef rump, a chestnut Wellington and all the trimmings, served beside the canal.
Made for office parties, family get-togethers and catching up with friends. Groups of eight or more, please send your pre-order 14 days before you join us.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Throughout December
Turkey and Vimto cranberry sandwiches, warm scones with Rodda’s clotted cream, mince pies with Baileys cream and chocolate yule log, with unlimited tea or coffee.
£29.50 per person, £34.50 with Prosecco, £44.50 with Veuve Clicquot.
All Day Dining
Daytime menu, 11.00am to 4.00pm
Evening menu, 4.00pm to 9.30pm
Executive Chef Chris Hall and his team cook seasonal small plates and mains with produce from Manchester’s independent producers, and Vimto, invented ten minutes’ walk away on Granby Row, in the chilli jam and the hoisin.
The menus change every month, so there is always something new to try.

Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, 7.00am to 11.00am
The Lock Keepers Breakfast is £20: the breakfast tables of cereals, granola, fruit, Greek yoghurt, cold cuts, cheeses, artisan breads and pastries, plus any one cooked dish, with bottomless Worker Bee coffee and Brew Tea Co. tea.
Choose from a Full English, our Manchester Muffin, American pancakes or the Floddie, the grated potato cake the canal builders lived on. All our eggs are cage-free.
Open to hotel guests and visitors alike.
Bottomless Brunch
Every Saturday, 12.30pm to 3.30pm
One brunch dish each and ninety minutes of spritzes, Prosecco, wine, beer and soft drinks, served beside the canal. £35 per person, or upgrade to Whispering Angel for £20.
Brunch favourites include the Manchester Muffin and Eggs Benedict. Last sitting 2pm, over 18s only.
Our brunch dishes are also on the daytime menu every day from 11am.
Afternoon Tea
Monday to Sunday, 12.00pm to 4.00pm
A classic British afternoon tea beside the canal: finger sandwiches, warm scones with clotted cream and jam, and handmade cakes, with tea or coffee for as long as you like.
